Who is the e-vignette for?
The E-Vignette (electronic vignette) is the mandatory fee for owners of vehicles with foreign registration plates using national roads in the Republic of Moldova.
This fee is regulated by the State Road Administration and is mandatory for all vehicles not registered in Moldova.

Who needs to buy the e-vignette?
The E-Vignette is mandatory for all vehicles with foreign registration plates travelling on national roads in the Republic of Moldova, regardless of the country of origin (Romania, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Poland, Germany, etc.).- Vehicles registered in the Republic of Moldova do not need an E-Vignette.
When does it start and end?
- Validity starts immediately after the payment is confirmed through the MPay system.
- The period is calculated in consecutive calendar days from the activation date.
- Proof of payment is instantly available in the omnis app and can be shown to the authorities on request.
- It cannot be cancelled or refunded after purchase – choose the period carefully.
Obligation and fines
- Driving without a valid vignette may result in administrative fines under Moldovan law.
- Authorities can electronically verify the vignette using the vehicle's registration number.
